Yeah they have to be pretty much concours original etc for $30K these days. I saw a Plum Crazy Swinget years ago where the guy was asking $40K. I dont think they go for that these days, if they do they are like all there 100% original maybe a repaint etc.The 70,styling wise, I see it as an entry into the 70s just like with the Coronet, charger etc. By 71 they all had the wraparound bumpers on the froint end. Looking at the 69 vs 70 rear panel to me the 69 is 60s the 70 is 70s its a definite transition "line" if you will between the decades styling.

If your car runs like a pig, it doesn't matter how sexy you think your tail lights are. Nobody is ever going to see them.

Yeah the 70s was the introduction of "plastic grilles" also I think chevy was already doing it a year or two . A friend has a 68 camaro with a plastic grille.

I see what you did there... funny... its not running like a pig anymore, we tuned it.... you never have any faith in me :poke:... but... its still not the fastest, so you're right no one will see the tail lights ... it carries the groceries just fine though :p

So the Dart Swinger has a new owner  will post more later. Thanks for comments.

Did you get to look at the car in person??

I did see the car ( only about 1/2 hr from me) Looks great / runs great but didn't drive it. I feel confident the car is good. The owner has other cars in the shop a Cuda 340 6 pack,
GTX rag top and an old Chevy Nomad wagon. All look like they just came out of the show room. I will drive it before the final payment. Thanks

Mine is an original, and I am the second owner.
The original owner ordered it new when he got home from Vietnam. Sold it to me because he new I would take care of it when he got cancer.
