Same here, I guess I've been lucky all these years. lol
The only time I had a transmission failure is when I didn't engage the convertor to the pump, sheared the ears at startup. lol
I was 14 years old at the time, lesson learned. lol
FWIW I use type F fluid. someone told me to years ago.
