Another "decent" 68 Barracuda with a reasonable "asking" price

Always liked that color. Was this originally a 318?

i haven't decoded the fender tag but i would guess this was a 318 car. i just bought a 69 fastback that needs work and it was a factory power steering and air car and it has a 318. back in the late 60's early 70's, the 318 was pretty much the "standard" engine in most A and B body cars. only the "economy" folks wanted the slant 6 and the 383 and up motors were considered "performance" motors. your average person walked into a Plymouth or Dodge dealer and drove out with a "V8" powered car and that V8 was almost always a 318.
