The pivot shafts should be tight in the bushings. They shouldn't require a full on press fit, but you want them to be a very tight slip fit. Difficult to assemble by hand, especially if you haven't lubricated the crap out of them. If they aren't that tight you end up with slop in the LCA.
I did lube the shafts with silicone grease I could get them about 1/3 way in by hand after that it took a light press to seat them all the way in, they are tight.
