03-08 Ram 2500 Steering gear top plate
An oddity for sure. The top plate on my steering box/gear has a developed a hairline crack that opens greater the warmer the steering box gets. I had the whole gear/box replaced 3 years ago. Parts/labor warranty was only 2 years. Anyone happen to have a junk box out of an 03-08 Ram 2500/3500 that can remove the top plate and ship it to me in Manchester, MD for a nominal fee? I need the square-ish red piece in this pic - it is only red in the pic for effect..... If it was not sub-freezing out, I'd hit the local pick/pull yards.
