71 Demon hood scoop trim - underneath painted?
Looking for some expert input for the 71 Demon 340 hood scoop trim. My dual scoops have the chrome trim on the front of the scoops. Does anyone know if the underside of them was painted a flat silver color (maybe to prevent reflection?) or were they just left chrome? Mine seem to have had some overspray on them so not quite sure. I polished them up but may paint the underside. You can see the underside of one of them below. Obviously the leading edge will stay chrome but wondering about the underside. I know the black is correct but not sure about the chrome underneath. Also posting a pic of the hood prior to repainting for reference. Thx!!
