Stop in for a cup of coffee

It warmed enough here yesterday and last night that the snow slid off the roof.......................right in front of the garage door. Ya, it's like concrete.

You have snow dogs on that metal roof? Not sure if you need them or not since it is textured. Mine is flat so when it goes it goes!

I might try some on the garage for next winter. The house roof just dumps in the yard or on the bushes. They survive. The front porch and both sides of the garage roof would be a good idea.

All sorts of them out there from ornate to clear composit ones. They aslo have like a bar system also. They all work.

The old clay tile roof was a little more rough textured. It would slide off but only after a lot of it melted. This metal roof is slick. 30° and it slides right off. The peaks melt off first and the heat transfers down the courses.

Going to spray some Sublime. Lacquer, For now, under the hood. A touch up while engine is out....Why not? And I have to spray the welds and new "hump" the correct color...

It's Torino Tuesday!

Good morning :D

So after spending the better part of the morning trying to get the cheap rocker to fit better, I said f it and cut it back out. Ordered an AMD one and gonna do it the right way

Other than a chance of rain snow mix for Saturday, the forecast is looking pretty good. Temps barely go below freezing in the 14 day.

afternoon, mid 50s out now, nice day to get some things done. More snow for tomorrow night into Thursday.

The coconut crabs on Kwajalein Atoll must be in revolt once again. The USAF will be launching a Minuteman to quiet them sometime between 11PM tonight and 6AM tomorrow. As clear as the night skies have been lately that might be quite a sight. Pity the poor crabs :(.
