The dome/ courtesy lamps are all fed with hot 12volts, an insulated dual contact socket, and to turn them on the yellow wire coming off the second contact is grounded. Check your door switches, and the headlight switch. "are you aware" that when you twist the headlight switch far to the left, it activates the courtesy lamps?
If you have a (optional) map light switch there might be something going on there
