At 1st I thought it was trunk latch, but no receiver slot. Looks close to a 66 hood latch, but dont think so(according to Google.pics anyway)
Ideas?
Thanks
Steve

Idk Steve,
That NOS looks USED, yours is in better shape. Not sure of their application description either.
I have lousy pics here of my 69 Dart latch, does it look close? Cant tell.

Steve, I have about a dozen mystery latches and safety cathes. The one you have there looks like it uses a pull cable to open, doesn't it ?

Thanks guys, just got home from work I will investigate later, but it's not like Joey's. I had it wrongly labelled "67-9 cuda trunk" Theres nowhere for the tang from key latch to slide into. I've still got the rest of spare hood latch assembly for 67/8 cudas, I'll try to "piece" it together to verify.
Thanks!

That looks exactly like the one on my 67 Barracuda, it is used on some other cars with the rod linkage (rod goes in the hole on the bottom of the lever)
Here is an NOS one (mine)

Yeah I'm thinking its 67-8 cuda.
Greasyfingers, I thought so too but you can see that mine (and Al's) doesnt have a hole in the top rh tit.
Thanks guys!
Definitely for a 66 barracuda, but missing the other parts.

Alan

67-68 barracuda

I’ve never seen a latch with that little hole. I think that was added at some point. That is a non moving part.
