For All The Slanters

How about some cool Slant pictures like that convertible with the dual Offy intake that was posted earlier this week? I know there are some nice slanty cars out there. I’d really like to see a hopped-up slant with a 4-speed, especially ‘63-66.

My Slant6 is always different to view. A 70 Challenger where the poor Slant hasn’t had its identity changed by pulling the 6 out and dropping in, what I’ve heard many times at car gatherings, a massive HP V8. I’ve heard “If I had this car the first thing I’d do is jerk that 6 out and drop in a serious engine”. Then there are those who are truly interested in info on the engine under the hood of a performance car.

I’ve owned a 70 Challenger Deputy with the slant and a 71 Charger with a slant. The Challenger had serious rust issues so I never pursued any type of restoration. The Charger was my daily driver for several years - my wife nicknamed it “The Beast” cause it was so slow
