I thought someone may be able to use the idea or modify it for their own use. My oil pan hangs down below the k frame and I wanted some protection. In the photos I used square tubing and plate and welded grade 8 bolts inline with the 2 holes from the factory on the k frame. This allow the k frame to return to factory at a later date. Note: I used seam sealer around the edges after installation to give it a one piece look. Andrew

Very good idea, I did the same but on my small block car because the Milodon 8 quart pan hung down beyond my comfort zone.

Great job, very sturdy as well..!! Now if you can take all the guys yelling at you because of the Fram filter....lol...Swingn’

I built mine after I bashed the pan on a dirt autocross, during a jump. So I fixed the pan and built a plate like yours but even simpler, and man that thing has taken a ****-kicking since then.
I didn't win; but I came daymn close,lol.
But more importantly, I left out the same gate I came in, and not on a trailer, lol. A lotta cars didn't.....
