Hi all, scored this air dryer with the copper inlet/outlet pipes(flared) Space is VERY limited. I haven't hooked it up yet but I was wondering whether to use air rubber PVC lines as they are more flexible(literally). Or the copper(or parts of them).
As I type this I'm thinking the rubber will be fine? Strap the lines to the wall for support.

I wouldn't hesitate to use a good quality rubber line between the dryer and the rest of the rigid run or over to the compressor. I need to get a short run of hose to go between my compressor and the rigid on the wall to take up the vibration and motion in the compressor. Replace the flare coupling with hose barb would be the easiest route.

No reason you cant use rubber hose. It was likely hard plumbed in a shop, copper being commonly used.

While rubber seems very doable and user friendly. I would of course suggest finding out what the manufacture has to say. I would be concerned if there are any contaminates that travel that line. Oil's will deteriorate certain rubber lines and it will be from the inside out. Also watch any heat build up. There is a standard by the manufacture for placement and filtration within your system. Nice score!!!

I couldn't find your exact model (I don't have the model number). But a similar model stated that if vibration is an issue. Flexible metal lines are to be used. I would think lines similar to water heater connections would work.

Heres model #, I'll Google for a manual. My husky compressor has an oil leak so an oil separator is a must. I think I'll see about getting a couple new soft lines made up. Hope to primer and paint if need be in the future.
Thanks all.
