Hi Guys, The car came from the factory with white vinyl roof and stripe delete. Should I restore to original or leave it.

Wow! Tough choice. My EB5 blue swinger is also a stripe delete car, and I don't really miss it, although white might look nice. I've never been a fan of vinyl tops. It depends on if you're a numbers matching guy. I think it's sharp as is.

I've seen more of them done how yours is now then with a white vinyl top and no stripe. I vote original.

If you are going to do something with the top, use the factory top trim and paint the roof instead of Vinyl. You could order them from the factory that way in 70. Then if somebody in the future wants it factory correct they can remove the stripe, and have a Vinyl roof put on with no hassle.

I would leave it as is with the exception of the hood black out treatment.
If the holes were still there for the vinyl top, I would install a black one.
It actually looks good as is, I would just drive it and not restore it any further........

If you are a "numbers guy" the answer is obvious. IMHO....Why spend money that you don't have to? The car looks awesome as is.
