Those were also used on the 69 Daytona and I'm sure you can imagine what that does for the price

so the one i have works; just not well. It blinks when blinker is being used, and lights up when lights are turned on but does not blink when lights are on. just stays solid on. i even plugged it into other side to see if it was deeper than just this and problem replicated. Any idea if there is anyone out there that fixes them?

Does it still have the ground wire on it?

I want to say mine had some issues similar to that and a good ground fixed it

My money would be on a wiring issue

Does the passenger side work as it should?
And what happens when you plug that on in on the driver's side?

the passenger one works perfectly, even with the ground wire not attached to the light, lol.
the drivers side one malfunctions on both sides.

how does the passenger side work on the drivers side ?

if it works fine it is in the drivers side wiring
i betcha you can fix it

even though the drivers side one failed on both sides?
think about it
the passenger side light works
when you unplug it, and plug in the drivers side, it doesnt work

that means that the issue is in the wiring (or the bulb) of the drivers side light

dont think so?

plug in the passenger side light on the drivers side and see what it does...if it works, you know it is the wiring in the drivers side light
if it doesnt, well, then we got to think a little harder

since the drivers side light doesn't work in the passenger side, i think that is the issue. something in the drivers side light. which is why i am looking to buy one unless i can figure out how to fix that one.

I have a 69 valiant with one spare really dont want to get rid of it ..But i found some one had pulled the contact in the socket out on one i had and put in backwards.. and it did the same thing.. It had the turn on the parking side so it was turning the wrong element on ..so you could not see it blink

could you take a picture of the "contact" and put in backwards" so i can check mine.

You got 4 wires
You can figure this out

Mine is in car.. All you have to do is Put Power it the bulb and find the High side element (The Brightest element ) then find your turn signal contact in light socket.. Then look on Bulb side for your pins one will be further down than other .Your socket is the same. and see it they match if not push the contact out of socket and turn it
