This thread hopefully will get folks to post under $5k buys. Not sure this specific car is "The one" for me? But maybe someone here?

holy crap! that's a hole riddled piece of crap!!! guess I gave away that duster I sold a couple months ago.....

Just needs a little bondo and you got a great driver :)
Probably not even many good usable parts on that one.

Earl Scheib used to paint cars like that for 69.95. If you didn't want the headlights painted you better tape em off yourself.

It will sell. If it was a B or E it would have already Sold and for much more.
It is (what believe) the pinnacle of A-body Barracuda's? A '68 fastback. if given a choice on an A-body Barracuda? That's the year and platform I would choose. JMO.

The 50 Darts and 50 Barracudas were considered production. That was the whole point of making that many. To qualify as production vehicles.

That was to make NHRA guidelines. I'm not sure they were licensed for street use? (I cou

That was just to make NHRA standards. They were not street legal from the factory. (Although I'm guessing some states rules were easier to get around?) But they didn't meet US safety standards.

Regardless, they were still production. They had to be, or else Chrysler could never have made them.
