Anyone cut lower 1/4 in front of rear wheels to fit 315/60/15?

Hi I need to cut my 1/4 panels in front of rear tire to fit 30/13.50/15 tires.Just seeing if anyone who has done this has some info on how to do this.Im not interested in moving my rear end back. This is the only place that needs some clearance.Any insight would be appreciated before I get started. Thanks

I`ve done 2 cars that way . I slowly and carefully cut the lip off ,and formed/BENT , it to the inner fender shape , which was the same contour of the orig. fender line , one side didnt even need bondo before PAINTING , the other only needed a hair "ABOUT 1/16'' because of diff metal hardness , for some reason , it wouldn`t bend as good as the first side.
GO VERY SLOW , IT WILL TAKE VARIETY OF TOOLS , EVEN USED THE CLAWS ON A CLAW HAMMER TO BACK UP THE INSIDE WHEN STARTING THE ROLL IN.
Slow is the key , and Im` not a body man .thumbnail.jpg
295 60 d15, the springs have settled , and the tires are about even w/ the top of the fender well now , 8 1/2'' rims on it now , pic ewas 15x8.
