I leave them out. They’re pretty much worthless.

If the cam retaining plate covers both holes, why do the books all say to stake them in? I don’t get it. Like I said, I don’t use them. They are redundant.
But why stake them??? They can’t get out. They only way out is through that plate and no way can you turn them either.
That makes no sense to me.
