i think he used walnut shells, it was a long time ago. i wouldn’t blast a hole car, it’s too hard to get the sand out.

got a little more work done this weekend, air compressor blew up so that slowed me down a bit. that’s life lol .

I’m just trying to turn it back into a car again on a low $$ budget . No pure breading going on here . What ever crap i have laying around the shop is what’s going on the car lol.

I got the right inner fender installed, tossed the fenders on to make sure everything still fits.

thanks , my skills aren’t that great, i just fail till i get it right . I went to school to learn autobody basics. They did really teach us how to rebuild a whole car body full of rust though. My teacher told me to buy a car with no rust. lmao !

Me too..I was hemming and hawwing about buying a Duster that needed a lf frame rail..I walked from it ,I figured it would sit and sit and sit before i got to it.

the problem with rust in these cars is it gets between all the panels. it’s hard to see how far it goes until you start cutting into it. my car didn’t look that bad at first. I’ve ended up replacing 2/3rds of the sheet metal.
