Is This an Indicator of Detonation?
I'm not talking about the black band around the bore that is carbon, where the rings don't ride. Look close at the picture right below the dark band there is a lighter band then the rest of the cylinder is slightly darker. Dark carbon band then light band then the rest of the cylinder.
