Lose the carburetor. All it's good for is parts. Being an emissions era carburetor it's so lean you're running almost on air.

As for camshaft, I kinda like this one.

This is one time I will disagree with you Rusty
What about recalibration with jets/rods/pistons/springs etc. Every TQ I have tuned to application has been a screamer. It may not work for serious applications but I’ve found it to be the best street carb I’ve ever run.
