727 rebuild kit

Maybe the trick is to "read between the lines"...That's just another website with loads of parts..plenty of them out there..Show me a rebuild kit with five red thins for the direct clutch and maybe I'll go along. I see overkill direct clutch packs with 6-7 red thins but no logical kits without spending about a hundred bucks on a direct pack capable of about 1200 horse.
Maybe this can be a revealing and educational topic discussion if you explain to all possibly reading this thread the benefits of running 5 minimum or even more frictions? What applications require 5? Or more than 5 frictions? What power levels are we talking? And what exactly is the issue with the factory 4 disc setup that’s been the standard and performed perfectly fine for decades? You’re asserting that the standard number is not recommended, why? I’d wager many that have posted or are watching are not really sure what you are driving at. There are known ways to stuff more in there by swapping, changing out etc before any machining. May I suggest you explain further? As it stands now you are likely talking over the heads of most and it would do you and others good to explain. And give examples, recommendations (which you haven’t so far) not just critique and pass judgement (and, I’m sorry, come off with a seemingly arrogant combative tone at times) on anything others offer up. Many could benefit from good insight. :)
