Passenger Side was Easy-Peasy!
Drivers-Side Exhaust Manifold won't clear the Steering Shaft to come out..

Undo the Motor Mount and Raise the Motor for clearance? or Remove the Steering Shaft?
Help before I Oxy-Acetylene/Sawz-All thru the Manifold! :BangHead:

I seen your post and was trying to remember back when I had to get that side off a 64 273.
I found it easier to remove the coupler from the box and release the column so I could get the room.
Good luck my friend

cant remember having trouble with mine.... ? Unbolt the manifolds, jack the motor and unbolt the motor mounts to get the lower head bolts accessible. Sorry, I cant recall having an issue.

Okay, if this is the method... then How to remove the coupler from the box?

Roll pin, remove it 1st. Then the 7/16 nuts holding the column under the dash and 3 bolt at the floor collar. And the screws and plastic collar at dash.

It's a 3-on-the-tree... is there any way to pull up the steering shaft w/out disturbing the column?

If you don't have a manual for your car, go to (my mopar.com) and down load one free. Its a great service for us and something you should get.
I just looked ant took a few minutes.

Leave the manifold there. You can pull the heads without removing it from the car. Unscrew the studs on the corners to kane it happen.

That's about what mine looked like. Unbolt the manifolds, don't have to disconnect them.....
