Doing a freeway job in LA long ago. All my materials for the concrete plant were delivered by independent haulers. Real perty Bulldog Mack hauling in there one day and I'm talking to one of the other haulers about it. "That funky old Mack is THE fastest truck in the LA Basin, loaded or empty, uphill or down. 700" of gas burning V8. Pass everything but a gas station." :lol:
