Debating on A Body or B Body for first car

I would post this same question on FBBO because all you are going to get here is A body propaganda. Personally, I love all mopars and all cars. Right now mopars are super hot and really expensive. I bought my duster from chris birdsong for 1700$. (green /6 auto, 1970 stripper model.) If you want a cheap affordable 2 door v8 muscle car, you will need to build it yourself. All the 340 4 speed cars are just too expensive for us young guys with no money. (I just got my driver's license so I was just like you last year.) I would just look for the worst optioned car that has good metal and bones and just start from there. Another thing you need to realize is that unless a family member or a good friend is willing to give you a mopar or any classic car, you are not going to find one on the internet worth what it is. for example: An old car is just an old car. a hunk of metal with problems. Likely rusted out. The internet has gotten so obsessed with the adjective and power words; one owner, only 1 of 300, highly optioned car, the only one with (insert buzz word). And they will want an exorbitant amount of money for a rusted out piece of **** just because it has some special option. The best place to look for cars is people's backyards, impound lots, google earth. (as creepy as it sounds you will see a lot of old cars sitting that since could have been hidden.) Just make friends with other car guys and you will be surprised to see how giving they are. Because they want to see the hobby, sport, and lifestyle of cars go on for generations and it is rare to see young guys getting into them.

Keep your eyes peeled, make connections, and don't sweat it too much.
Unfortunately now adays even those cars are expensive. I see rusted slant 6 cars for 3500! I got my first car (my 75 dart that I still have) from a little old lady for 500 bucks. It had been setting since the early 90s I bought it in 2000. It needed some work but nothing too major that I couldn't figure out. I love seeing yall young guns on here! Takes me back to when I was that age.
