Custom Slant 6 Torque Converter: 1967+68

This is a hybrid torque converter custom built to fit a 1967 and earlier crank and a 1968 and later 904 transmission. The pilot hole on the '67 and down crank is smaller than the '68 and up so, instead of enlarging it, you just use this TC.

I had it built in 2017 by Transtar so I could drive the ’68 Barracuda with a 1967 170 in it while I was rebuilding the Barracuda’s 225. It works great and has maybe 500 miles on it.
