64 cuda cargo area

Looking for information pertaining to the interior of a ’64 Barracuda. I’m doing a complete interior restoration. Interior was stripped out years ago by the PO.

What goes under the carpet in the cargo area? Some threads seem to indicate that on later models the carpet was just glued to the sheet metal. On the ’64 the sheet metal pieces are too irregular to do this. Could it be just plywood or fiberboard? If so, how thick. Someone must have refurbished an early Barracuda and replaced the cargo area carpeting.

I will be looking for a source for the chrome molding that goes around the perimeter of the cargo area.

Also looking for sun visors.

There is a series of (7) small holes (~1/16” diameter) in the vertical area behind where the rear seat goes. They seem to be in line horizontally. There are also (2) other slightly larger holes lower on the same vertical surface. See attached photo. Does someone know the purpose of these holes?

Not an interior part, but I am also looking for a hood latch striker, P/N 2486961. I believe that only a ’63 or ’64, Dart, Valiant or Barracuda will work. May be used on other models/years, I am just not certain. Looks like a bent up “S” with ends that will take a through bolt.

I would really appreciate any help anyone could send my way.
