There is a pan that covers that whole area and screws in the front with the 5 screws. Looks like your missing a lot of parts. The carpet glued to those missing parts. The glue is mostly for the side parts. This is the only shot from WAY before my 66 Barracuda resto. I thought I took photos of that but if you buy the Barracuda book it has all the parts shown in detail. It’s a manella yellow cover kinda looks homemade and has the history of Barracuda from 64-69. Maybe some others will have more shots to help you.
