Anyone put a Grant Classic steering wheel into an early A ?

I was able to get one to work just fine on a 66 dart about 20 years ago but have not been able to get one to work on any car since, including a 66 charger. they contact the horn contact and when you back it off the steering wheel eventually gets loose. glad to hear someone got one to work.
