I am finally getting to the point of putting the glass back in the car. I am putting all new fuzzies as well but my car was missing them when I got it. There is a thick fizzy and a thin one and I do not know which one goes on the inside of the door. I am replacing front and back so here is where I am at. Also if anyone can tell me how the gasket that runs along the top of the windows at the roof line is held in and is the pointed end to the front or to the rear?

Thank you to any and all help.

54 year old oem 67 dart.

They only go on one way.

2 different profiles.

So the thick side out
Didn't realize that certs and non certs were that different.

What you see is the outer cat whiskers has a sweep like a windshield wiper blade.

The inside is the cat wisker .

Keep in mind this is 67 vert and a dart

67 fastback 1st pic
69 vert 2nd.
The outer on both is the same profile, BUT I heard from @RPM440+6 that the aftermarket outers werent exact(or something like that)

I can testify to that. Look at my two photos the aftermarket is farther from the door than the oem piece. The inner has thinner wisker, like ~1/4 vs ~3/8" (oem)

The outer material used on the Top Catwhiksers is basically identical to the OEM samples that we have samples of. At one time, we could still source the original material from an OEM vendor. We have gone to a thinner inner felt material as the rubber bulb with the impregnated whisker material was putting too much pressure on the glass making it difficult to roll the glass up and down The difference is less than a 1/16" difference, but that makes a dramatic difference as there is so much room for the glass to be adjusted.
