I have a set of 893/892 .870 torsion bars for a 340 abody car. They are in excellent shape with no pitting or nicks. They have most of the original paint and the factory blue painted stripes are still on them. I would like $100 plus shipping from 16417. I accept PayPal. You can avoid fees sending friends and family or add the 4%. Thanks.

can you explain to me the blue paint marks... i understand they are factory markings but my question is does the driver side get the 2 paint marks or the passenger side? thanks

Odd and even tells the tale, stripes should not dictate what side they go on.

At the factory they did things to mark what the parts where so the guys on the assembly line could grab them quick and not have to look long to know what they where putting on the car. It’s like how they welded a washer on the 340 k frames.

You can physically mount them opposite but they wont settle at height. They may be pre-stressed to their directional side too, not sure if that is fact. The big PST bars were not clocked and should be uni-directional so they were not pre-stressed.
