If you have drum brakes with manual adjusters, these springs look correct that keep the star wheel from moving between adjustments (the rear of my '65 Formula S has 10" brakes with manual adjusters on the 8 3/4 rear end a previous owner installed).

That's because it wasn't done this way .These cars came with self adjusting brakes with a whole different set up,What you have looks like 1950's ford with that spring over the adjusting wheel. It works but you have to improvise because it's not a stock arangement and there is no such thing as the "correct" part that you can just order.

Odie, can you get a length on the spring? I may have one, if I do I'll send it to you for postage. Bill S.

Thanks, but I am re-using the old ones. Just posted this for anyone looking for 'em since they are not included in brake hardware kits. For the record, the coiled portion is about 2 inches while overall length is about 3 inches.
