You should be fine with the way it is, just make sure before connecting the linkage to the arms that everything moves freely with no binding or bending.
ok thanks for replying back. im already putting everything on as we speak just got a road block at the moment. something is wrong with my kickdown linkage, it wont go back and forth smoothly like it use to. it wont go back at all when i press the gas pedal / hell its preventing the gas pedal to travel (restricted). i gotta figure out what is being stuck/bind tomorrow... if not ill have to take the headers and intake off again to reach the kickdown shaft / tranny shaft.
