well, here you go all you Dart lovers out there in FABO land. this may be the best deal on a nice, ready to race and VERY original looking 68 Dart 426 Hemi 4 speed i've ever run across.
if this car runs as nice as it looks, it would be quite a deal. and the seller said $67k was his "asking" price!
old 426 hemi engines are selling for between $25k - $30k right now. and you probably could recreate a 68 Dart in the condition this one is in for $25k. so if you could buy this car for $55k-$60k, it would probably be a deal.
there was a time not too long ago when ANY 60's-70's 426 mopar race car was selling for north of $100k. not anymore. here's a prediction: in a couple of years, you will be able to buy ANY "nice" old mopar muscle car for $30k or LESS... excluding Superbirds, Daytona Chargers and Hemi convertible Cuda's and Challengers.
