Father-Son 1974 Duster Project

I just had to buy this 96 Ferd F150
I had very similar yet more plain model back in the day. My son traded his Silverado in on the Challenger and I can’t be without a pickup to go fetch stuff on the weekend now can I?
I dig the two tone and I was able to get all the stainless trim and graphics to make the thing look new so off to Maaco she went. The guy who owns our local Maaco is a good egg and he cares about doing good work. And his crew likes working on old stuff too. Plus, parts are very reasonable and very available.
It has the typical rust around the wheel openings so she’s getting new fenders up front and wheel arch repair panels and inner wheel house panels on the bed.
mechanically I had to do new rear spring hangers, axle seals, belt tensioner, trans lines, radiator, water pump and spark plugs. It’s a 302 with 200,000+ miles and the damn thing had the original plugs in it. lol
We found a mint seat out of a same year F350 and bought nice door panels, new carpet and headliner. A nice little freshen up!
Did I say I Love that two tone? YeH I did.
Oh and did I mention I’m looking to swap a roller cam 360 into the Duster next winter?
