1965 MMP's Barracuda Hemi swap! The Ever Changing Build

Any news on when your car will be painted and back home? Kinda missing your build buddy and would like to see it on the road real soon.

NO.. ugh I have been super busy and actually leaving for Colorado on the 26th then off to Arizona. Was planning on hitting the paint shop for updates when I get back... Worried if I do it before I leave "It will be ready" but I won't be able to receive it, and will make the trip seem even longer.....! :poke::( grrrr

Can't wait to see it in color either. A thought on using spare wire from tail light harness...will the gauge wire support the electrical load? Might consider new wiring to eliminate possible/potential issue and provide piece of mind. You can hide the new wiring. Had another thought for your OD on/off switch...what about a foot switch (similar to a dimmer hi/lo) you could wire to a small red LED that'll illuminate when not in OD. Just thoughts. Love the build.
Paint color OMGawd I know about a week ago the car was in final block sand and I'll tell you the thought of it woke me up out of the blue in the middle of the night. Wife thought I was crazy I woke her *** up just to asker if she thought we were making a mistake on the color? would the color be too much for the car and body line...??? lol :realcrazy:
I thought about that too... and may still go that route I want it to be clean and look stock or natural what ever I do. I've been leaning toward a dash switch using a stock dash knob. You know kind like hidden in plane site sorta thing...
As for the wire and load I think I should be fine I using the wire size the pump requires. I just had to add it to the tail light harness. The only "tricky" part was using the open spot on the stock harness plug and getting flat blade connectors that will work with the harness plug male and female. This last step I haven't completed.
