Does your dipstick look like this?
Hi guys/gals. I've been curious for something for awhile and would like your opinion. Here's a photo of the top of the dipstick from my 1974 slant six Duster. I believe that this is the factory original dipstick. Have you ever seen one with the red painted tip on the end of the loop. I haven't seen this on any of the other A bodies that I've owned. This is a St. Louis built car. Also, does the open part of the loop face up, or does it face down, when the dipstick is properly installed. Your opinion on both topics would be welcome. Thanks!
