Stop in for a cup of coffee

The overhead thing is a killer for me now. I work overhead for several hours and don’t think a thing about it..... till the next day! Instant old man cripple syndrome!
Clamped a 4x4 block to frame, so i had a place to latch my pry bar. Then pry on back of drill. Redneck drill press. Pushing on the drill just doesent work. And the flange has heat cycled thousands of times, makes it that much more entertaining to drill.

At least my $400 truck still runs. Fuel pressure regulator fixed it right up. Other than a fouled plug now. I will get that sorted out later. oh, did i mention my son blew a head gasket in his truck the other day? Chevy 5.3. 600 in parts(my cost) to fix.

Got my letter and wrist bands for Mopars in the Park today. Woo hoo

Got under hood wiring 98 percent finished....new bulkhead connector...relays for headlights...big *** cable to alt for charging. Amp gauge bypassed...

Hope we get to go. Selling and closing on a house at about that time is going to be hectic.
My goal is to go and deal with the stuff here a couple days later. Hopefully it's her goal too.

:(at least it does not LOOK too bad. hopefully only new bumper section thing at the end of the frame and a new tail panel. maybe new quarters if he got unlucky.
Both quarters, trunk lid, pan, drop-offs, multiple tail panel pieces, frame rails...

Just plain hurts my feelings to see those kind of pictures. I know it is somewhat unavoidable in our day and age but arghh!
My buddy got hit years ago, 70 impala convertible. RR 1/4 bumper and seat broke. Insurance wanted to write it off. rumors were the adjuster had buyers waiting. Buddy refused to let them write it off. They could, but had to pay full preplacement value, and at that point the engine was barely a year old. And 70 ragtops are few and far between.

Very few parts available for those early A's. A good frame machine and parts car are the only way to go. Still very expensive to fix.

Last year, my son wrecked my beautiful 92 Ram D250 Cummins, while I was in Viet Nam. Everyone knows what they're worth. Ins co totaled it, and gave me 6k.:wtf:
I bought it back for $500. Replaced 1 lower control arm, and had it aligned. Never did fix the body damage yet. At one time it was a beautiful truck :mob::mob:

Morning!
23f and wind is howling! Think my bbq just blew off the deck.

lots of noise through the night with the wind. Kinda droopy this morning.
Hey! Did you know the little drip tray on the kureg holds a full cup of coffee? We do now!
