Slant six radiator. 19" wide x 17" tall core. Offset brackets as pictured. Radiator number is 2582925 Anybody know what it fits? Thanks.

Early a body is my 'guess' by looking at it.

Slant 6, 1964 a body

I'd go along with that, if I didn't have a 64 Valiant. Mine is centered in the radiator support. This wouldn't fit in my car. I was kinda "hoping" it might be for a 62 and back as a friend needs one and I was going to give it to him. Thanks for the input though.

You been doin ok? Ain't heared from you in a minute. Got the closed chamber head ported. Going to pick it up tomorrow. Will post pictures and the flow sheet when we get back home with it.

2582925 is number on upper tank of radiator. 2582926 is the Chrysler catalog part number. It fits 1966 Valiant and Dart 170 or 225 engine with manual transmission.

Thank you SO much! I am almost 100% positive it will fit for his 61 if he cuts the passenger's side short like the driver's side. I've given him the measurements and he's sure it will fit. Muchas grassy ***.

Just make a sheet metal bracket and solder it on. Save the mostly obsolete for another project or sell.jmo

The ins and outs are the same for 64/66, but the number does tell the truth for the sake of originality.

I parted out a 68 Barracuda in the last century. It was a 225 and the radiator had a filler plate like that. It bolted in and filled the wider opening in the core support. Most likely cheaper and simpler than building 2 sizes of core supports. Just a simple p/n on the build sheet at assembly without complicating the body weldment.

My 19" radiator in my Swinger is like that as well. The cavity will accept a 22" core.

The radiator in my 67 Barracuda when it still had a slant six was like that - with the filler panel on the passenger side to fill in the radiator opening that was the same size as used in V8s. I saved the radiator when I swapped in a 360, so when I later got a slant six 63 Valiant with some kind of aftermarket radiator, I just trimmed the 67's filler panel with a cutoff wheel, drilled a couple of new holes on that side, and slapped the 67 radiator in the 63. Fit perfectly.
