I have a 71 Duster 225 with what I am pretty sure is a Holley 1945. I assume sometime in its life someone swapped a 1945 on it as I didn't think they were on the early dusters. Car is new to me and just starting in on it. I can start it with a bit of starter fluid and then once warmed up runs great. Have a carb rebuild kit on they way. Not sure which choke setup to use. Would like to possibly get an electric conversion. Also, anyone know where to get the little wire clip that goes on the top of the carb that the air cleaner bolts on (or what it is called)?

Thanks,
Dan

Your engine may not be a 1971 slant six. The carburetor came off a 1984 dodge truck. Manifolds are not 1971. They also appear to be from 1980's six cylinder truck. If you can't find the air cleaner clamp/retainer and choke on this site,go to slant six forum for help.

Thanks for the help guys. Does appear to have an older 225 swapped in. Noticed the AC bracket is "custom". Got the E-choke ordered.
