Who's got a Battery powered push mower? Any worth a hoot?

I've had an Earthwise 24volt model for about 6 years. The part of my property I mow is about 1/2 acre. It will mow that and then need a charge, but once your done you plug it in and charge for the next time. Last year the battery started crapping out and not taking a good charge. I forget how much, but the factory battery was expensive. I found a youtube video where someone showed if you open up the removable batery case it contains 2 12v, and he posted links to where you could buy batteries with the same specs on amazon. Cost me $45 for new batteries and it was good as new again. The nice thing about a battery operated mower is that it is about as quiet as a window box fan. I'm sure the newer higher voltage models would have more torque and longer use time before needing a charge.
That's the same Style battery Pack mine took. Had the torque of a ceiling fan too. Its adequate for a small touch up but didn't have a chance on my crap "natural" lawn (not seeded, just cut what grows) that was probably half weed and half crab grass anyway. I just realized that I can use the factory 24v charger for my kids 24v 360 power trike....hey, it may actually serve me after all!
<< you can run 36v on an older 24v DC lawnmower motor pretty easily as the controller is only a switch or relay, not a pwm controller...on or off. >>
