I need a couple 1" , 1-1/2" and (1) 2-1/2" body plug for my 68 Barracuda. The local body shop supply place only sells boxes of 25. The other local "auto parts" places laughed when I asked.(guess they sell a lot of pine tree air fresheners and gum) LOL
Anyone know where I might find them?

The kits are usually missing a few. The large one in the spare tire well is one that most kits don't come with....some do. The oval one for the clutch linkage does not come in the kit and Im not sure anyone makes it.
There is also an oddball size one above the master cylinder that is hard to find. This one is usually damaged or missing because its a convenient place for people to run wiring through.
You can find most of them in small qty on ebay. They cost a little more but better than buying a whole kit for one plug. Those kits have gotten ridiculously expensive.

That's why I asked I literally need 4 or 5 plugs and $40 plus shipping is stupid for what I need. Buying a box of 25 for 1 plug is again stupid. One way or the other I'll get the ones I need I just have always had good results asking one of you guys THANKS for the Help

I think I have seen them at the local hardware store.

If you are not squared away on this, Mega Parts sells individual body plugs.

If I remember correctly there is a thicker rubber plug?( not plastic)I believe it's in floorpans for 67-9 cudas? I stupidly gave mine to someone "in need".

Actually Rock Auto does have some, and they are cheap. They carry Metro brand. I do a google search the size of plug I need then search on Rock Auto under part no. search and see if they can get them!

I don't know why, but I can never find anything on Rock Auto's web site. More power to ya if you can. Oh, I have found something, but most of the time, no.

Ron, Is it the trunk plug that you need? Over 2"? Pretty sure I bought from DMT. Just send them an email or call if you dont see individual ones listed.
If no luck, send me a PM and I'll check my records.

If you need single plugs try e-bay Motors using the diameter of the hole. I've found sources for single plugs in odd sizes before

I got one about that size from DMT also for the drivers side firewall of my 66 Barracuda.
