My question is confirm for that day in that day?

Okay thanks just make sure earlier some of where told was cancel on other location that's why I ask.

Well, one step closer to being sure we'll be there. Called my cousin and we'll be staying at her place (Chino Hills). That's a good thing because her and her entire clan (all three adult kids, two spouses, one girlfriend, AND an ex-wife of one the spouses and her husband so they can still do the custody thing) are moving to points north (most of them near Boise).

Anyone have a suggestion for a hotel? Nothing with whores walking the parking lot and nothing with turndown service....Just something decent with a rate similar to the Air-Tel....?

Yea the hotel is right across the street. Area seems nice and quite. Shelby is a deadend street, so not much traffic around, it’s an Comfort Inn.

There is also another hotel down the street, Hotel d’Lins. Like Autoxcuda said, there’s an airport near by, there’s a few hotels.

My contribution to the door prize giveaway is complete and on the way to California!

I hope the winner loves them!!!

This is the closest-to-accurate photo but still has little justice compared to reality.

First of all, great show, BUT there were communication problems with spectator parking. I was told (not directly by a club member) that spectator parking would be in the back lot. When I asked out on the road I was told that parking at the next building over. That would have been fine EXCEPT it made it a pain with my wife's Jazzy scooter. Was then told inside that there was, indeed, handicap parking in the back lot. By the time we left at noon, anybody was parking back there. Gotta make things more clear with EVERY member handling parking of both show cars and spectators.

We did have a great time, though.

Hey, I walked right behind you guys in the swap area! Your wife in the jazzy (only one I saw there) said "1963?" in a conversation? Remember me? Ha! That back lot where the food trucks was empty! And when I finally walked out the west end gate, that street was wide open for cars. I know its hard to coordinate parking but that venue seemed to have ample parking in the food truck area, I parked across the street at the hotel and was wondering if there was a towing issue. Check out the trophy showcase! One of the highlights of the show!

I brought/sold item to @go-fish and talked with him. I saw him asking about it here on FABO a while back. Then I thought to myself. I think I have one of those. No shipping, no guessing, no fees. Just see part, buy part. So easy to work that way.

Saw Jim, Kern Dog... I'm sure I saw others.

I went with Ns1rm21. He had a big swap spot with bunch of fairly inexpensive items. We were in the Modern Mopar side on the street side.

Go-Fish bought a B-body rear backing plate to backing plate including 3.23 489 case for like $350? or something from him.

This happy '69 Charger owner won my valve covers! It was not only the first time he ever won anything but was his very first car show as well. Congrats Marco!!!

"Won these at the raffle today at @lnland_mopars ! Beautiful powder coated valve covers! Thank you @cudachick1968 your work is beautiful and badass! This was my first time winning anything and my first car show! Thanks again! Hit up @cudachick1968 she knows exactly what she’s doing! #mopar #moparperformance #inlandmopars #phoenixspecialtycoatings"

Congratulations to EVERYONE involved! It sounds like there were a few bugs in the grille, expected for a first time at a new venue, but it also sounds like a fantastic show. Same as every one before this, it and the Route 66 Rendezvous every September are the only two reasons I wish I still lived in the Inland Empire.

Way to go @Jasonmiester and everyone at Inland Mopars! Thanks for doing this for us and for the kids.

Thanks for coming to our show, Pishta!
And thanks for showcasing the trophies. All were made by Lonnie, one of our very talented Inland Mopars Car Club members. Talented? You better believe it!

You really needed to see those beautiful valve covers POP in the sun!
I understand Marco bought $140 worth of Opportunity Drawing tickets (you cannot legally advertise a "raffle" in California - gotta be an "opportunity drawing"), just for those valve covers.
THANK AGAIN, LEANNA! You're the best!!!

Sorry for the communication mixup, Jim. We just found out of Friday that the parking lot next door was going to be available on the day of show. We decided to use the extra back parking lot for any overflow show car parking.
I especially apologize for the lack of communication about the Handicap parking availability. We will be discussing this at our next club meeting when we do our "official" after-action discussions.
