I'm not defending Year One as I have never purchased from them.
To be fair and all else aside, are high shipping costs the attributable to the shippers(UPS, USPS, FEDEX, etc.) or is Year One making a profit from shipping?
As discussed in other FABO/FBBO/FEBO posts, IMO, high shipping costs can attributed to subsidies given to Amazon and others large companies via lower shipping rates at our expense
