year one, problems, anyone know this?

I have bought very little from them over the years, but I did stop by for a visit when they were brand new. I had a business trip to Atlanta (Marietta)in Feb. 1985. Had some time to kill the afternoon I got there. It was cool to see the start of resto parts coming on the scene.
I too have visited and had a tour of the facility when it was based in Stone Mountain. Spent many thousands of dollars over the last 35 years with them...but not so much in the last 10.

It is great that were among the first to get parts made for the Restorer market, but their shipping costs and technique has let them down for a few years now. The last package I received could have been packed a lot more concisely, and without all the padding pillows & catalogues that add unwanted weight.

I still have their catalog from 1987 and the fax order sheets.
I still have all mine too .....dating from about 1986. :D
