1965 Dart

With the standard 3.23 rear gears and 13" wheels, it is great for around town and back country roads, but cruising above 60mph is a little high on the rpm scale. :)

My wagon has the same gearing but a three-speed and 15" tires. It's a great car up until about 70; then it just feels uncomfortable. That's OK...when I go out on the freeway, I just try to keep it under 70; I have a balance issue somewhere that I've never been able to figure out above that speed anyway. I've found that all old cars have a natural freeway speed. My '53 Buick likes going 60...my V8 cars with highway gears will keep up with modern freeway traffic all day.
