Stop in for a cup of coffee

Not quite sure what you're doing there, but I have used a large needle nose and pull handles apart. Might work in side holes of motor and work around different ones. What are you hoping to do to the motor once opened?[/QUOT

Thanks, will see if the tips will fit down in there, also may spray some break free around the cases edge. I'm following a procedure written and posted on Vinyl Engine by some guys that have been doing this a lot longer than me, great to avoid the pitfalls because parts are hard to come by on these old turntables. The turntable was making noise, did a clean and lube including cleaning the idler wheel which drives the platter from the inside. Can't even touch the rubber idler wheel or inner platter with bare fingers because of oil contamination. Anyhoo that wasn't the cause of the noise leaving the motor.
