A couple pics I took for Dave to work his magic on. Thinking green scoops...
Or not.... Had a potential issue with the scoops. Thought they might be to heavy and overcome the lifts on the hood. Whew! Just right! Put the chrome inserts on and it still was OK. Disaster avoided....
I probably would have doubled up on the lifts.....might have looked weird ...

Did you cut metal out of hood for functional scoops? Are scoops plastic? Should balance near equal...
I could cut out to make functional They are abs I think.just looked. Would have to cut hood frame support. Nope.
Give yourself a day of rest, no drama area near the pond if you have too.
I agree Chris, and let me give you my condolences sir, I know he was like a father to you and kept you on the straight and narrow as well as he could.

I’m thinking I’m gonna part the dart out. Sell the Gerst stuff, the trans and engine. And try to find a 64 sport fury. It was my grandfather’s first car and I think finding one would be helpful for me. Even if it’s a rough project. Course I will consider this after some time goes by before making any drastic moves like that

Probably right. I mean he was just holding the 1/4S Friday for me on the dart.
Friday, up and about, insisting on helping hold the panels while I tacked them in.
Was last car he had his hands on. Keep that memory.
