Slap those on a small domed mill and give it a big cam!
Hopefully this one is big enough
Heads run out of steam about 7400 rpm !

With 3.2 inch crank and 6.2 inch rods, I expect it will rpm higher than that. I'm curious what the numbers say on peak power/rpm calculator. Given they flow the same above .5 as a set of Speedmaster CNC heads with some valve seat cleanup, I think 321 inches and that much .050 duration will still be very much in the sweet spot and still pulling at 7400.
 
I have lost track, what was the bottom end and what did these heads flow?

U are 100 % correct
My heads will fall short before camshaft but its ok !! It will certainly make some good

Garrett - helping me order custom pistons next week finally getting it done to many projects been going on the last 18 months.

A stout 318 !

Back in the day they experimented with a 288” small block combo. I’d have to look up the heads, but I’m pretty sure it’s some W-? iteration.

Didn’t work for what they wanted. Not sure what they wanted it for, but it was officially aborted.

9000 rpm. That will rattle your teeth!

and to think with the heavy components they had back then.

Browsing through many runs, looks like all around 520-540 or so peak HP. BTW, SVI= Ted Sphear.

This run had rpm “issues” it seems by the comments :eek::eek:

Chrom-a-Shaft 3.2 inch ex Glidden crank with sbc 2.0 inch rod journals, 6.2 Scat H beam rods, 4.0 inch bore, Ross custom pistons. Compression target is for 110 octane leaded race gas, hopefully 12.5:1 plus, but going to take some work with the short stroke and deep valve pockets for the long dwell time with the near 1.94 rod to stroke ratio. 28.0 inch H2O flow yet to be known.
 
Flow shmo.. those are dead sexy heads and will perform beautifully.
Thank you keep in mind my model heads are simply 1975 smoger castings that were ported at Mullen and company !!!!
They are 5 years after the TA heads were campaigned and 1 year before the W2 was revealed my castings are mentioned as
(W1) in several 1975 publications.
Mullen offered a heavily modified (360 casting - same as mine but special welding needed etc for Pro-Stock class I wish I had some of those and my numbers would be more impressive nevertheless for class I want to race in these will work until I desire something else. I have a alot of money in these and many will question my direction versus other routes but These heads are Super rare to me and im honored to have um .

Correct! While the numbers aren't huge (about the same as properly worked J heads), they fit the class requirements well and allow enough of a weight break to put the car in the middle of the field. They should still feed 321 inches with a 1.94:1 rod ratio to just shy of 8000 rpm.

Looks like a lot of expense for what you get...
Nothing but money easy come easy go,
I wasnt never bulding a stroker 360 with Brodix alum heads or Indy etc
Building a vintage car and want Chrysler oem iron heads on top .
