Not sure, maybe I did it with the 180 grit ball hone, or it could have always been that way. The measurements weren't taken until after the 180 and 320 honing I did to deglaze. I bought new rings, but have not installed them yet. I didn't see any issues with the old one's, but thought maybe I should just put new ones in.
