One wire alternator nonsense

I really have to disagree. These cars worked really well for decades. Nobody ever thought that we'd still be thrashing them 50 years later, or designed for it. Nobody had these problems in the 1980s and 1990s. Nobody bothers to maintain these systems over time. It's like complaining when an engine bites the dust and nobody ever changed the oil. Who takes apart all the connections, cleans and greases them, but listen to them wail when the resistance from corroded connections burns something up. The other big issue is installing equipment that puts loads on the system that it was never intended to support. Sorry but I don't buy it.
I would agree but I would also say the wiring/electrical in a general motors of the same vintage puts mopars to shame. Mopars have always been known for their wiring design and it wasn't because of how great it was lol. Now the body styles and engines are awesome, but don't get me started on the whole windshield gasket bs, pure stupidity.
